This is the Chapel - a CD of Clifton music in celebration of 150 years of the Chapel and the conclusion of the Sir David Willcocks Appeal

This is the Chapel was written to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the founding of Clifton College and is one of several anthems for choir, organ and brass featured on the CD, along with congregational hymns and organ solos.

The Appeal was launched to add a 32' Double Ophicleide to the Chapel organ and thanks to the generosity of many benefactors the work was completed in August 2017 in honour of Old Cliftonian, Sir David Willcocks, 1919-2015.

The celebration concert to follow was so well-received that it seemed appropriate to create a permanent record of the occasion for others to enjoy. It took two days to record the Chapel Choirs, Chamber Choir and individual organ scholars for the CD and it was a fantastic experience for everyone involved.
