OC Nick Gutfreund (ET 1978) designed and created Coronation Anointing Screen

OC Nick Gutfreund (ET 1978) of the Worshipful Company of Carpenters designed and created the Anointing Screen for the Coronation of King Charles III. The oak wooden poles are made from a windblown tree from the Windsor Estate, which was originally planted by The Duke of Northumberland in 1765. The Anointing Screen was used at the most sacred moment of the Coronation, the Anointing of His Majesty The King. |
