The Berkshire Golf Day - 2023

The Old Cliftonian Golfing Society had their annual meeting at the Berkshire Golf Club on Tuesday 5 September 2023. We had a glorious day with the mercury hitting 30 deg C. The turnout was fantastic with thirty one members and three pupils playing including two new younger members. Jeremy Pickles (Acting OC Sec) kindly came along to help out and we all had a superb Berkshire lunch between rounds. The winners of the morning singles were Chris Baker winning the Gross Anderson Salver with a score of 72, Ben Lockwood winning the 0-12 Handicap division Lady Wimble Cup with 42 points and Sunit Sharma winning the 13+ handicap division Lady Wimble Cup with 42 points. The afternoon foursomes was won by Jack Lockwood and Nick Allen with 40 points. Jake Thompson won the longest drive and Ross Crook won nearest the pin. Further communication will be sent out with information on next year’s date in due course. |
